So I just received my new MY touch 4G and I must say it’s an Iphone killer. Then task of transferring my 243 contacts arises. Called T-Mobile to find out if I can use their MobileLife backup service to do it and I was told that is not compatible with the My-Touch 4G quite yet.
So I googled a few ideas and none seemed to work but at 4:00 in the morning after trying the whole night I had an idea. See, I synced my Iphone contacts to my windows address book (WAB) and uploaded it to my network drive. I then went back to my My Touch and attempted to import my contacts from the file (WAB) I had just created but the message on the phone indicated that the file it was looking for is in Vcards. I googled a wab converter and came upon a software called SysTools.vCard.Export.v4.0.

San Francisco (CNN) -- Cliff Kushler wants to talk to dolphins.
But in the meantime, he'll settle for helping humans communicate better.
In the 1990s, Kushler invented a cell phone technology called T9, which helped launch the text messaging phenomenon. And before that, he developed a once dominant language input gizmo for the disabled.
Now Kushler, 58, is rethinking the keyboard again with Swype.
